Amy is founder of The Girl in a Tree life coaching center, she is a mother, author, and sought-after speaker.

Am I a proud mother of two and currently lives in Seattle, Washington where I enjoy the beautiful nature that Pacific Northwest has to offer. I received my bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in education at Texas State University. I’ve taught in the gifted and talented program while living in Austin and Seattle. One of my most unique experience was being an early member and board member of Texas Roller Derby (TXRD) where I formed life-long friendships.

I didn’t become fully aware of living a conscious life until I was in my forties going through a brutal divorce. I felt hopeless, afraid, and thought about ending my own life. Fortunately, I was called to take a different path that led me to what I call my Miracle Tree where I chose to climb again and reconnect with nature. After this tree climbing awakening, I began my own personal journey to become the woman who honors the wisdom that the girl in a tree was born knowing.

I’ve been a guide or teacher in some form my entire life. First as a swim team coach then a teacher and now a transformational energy coach. Through my training as a transformational energy coach, I discovered tools that unlocked many mysteries of why I and so many show up in each level of energy and how to harness the knowledge to release what no longer serves us to reach a higher level of true sustainable happiness in all areas of our lives.
